Who is responsible for your data

Website visits and server logs

When you visit the website, our web server automatically records technical information about each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser and operating system (user agent) and the response status.

We use this information to deliver the website, keep it secure, detect and prevent abuse, and produce aggregated visit statistics. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Server logs are kept for 12 months and then deleted.

Contact form and email enquiries

When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the company and phone number (if you provide them), the service of interest and your message. The form sends this information by email to advisers@avaloncomp.ro; it is not stored in a website database.

If you write to us directly by email, we receive your email address, your message and any information or attachments you choose to include.

We use this information to understand and answer your enquiry and, where you request it, to take steps before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For other business correspondence, the basis is our legitimate interest in responding to and managing professional enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing this information is voluntary, but without contact details we cannot reply. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry.

How long enquiries are kept

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up, for as long as a business relationship continues, and for longer only where a legal record-keeping obligation applies or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Information that is no longer needed is deleted.

Cookies and analytics

The website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts and does not store information on your device. Fonts and images are served from our own website; no content is loaded from third parties.

If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent before any analytics data is collected.

Who may receive information

Personal data may be accessed by the people at Avalon Comp who handle the correspondence and by the service providers that host and maintain our website and email services on our behalf, acting as processors. Professional advisers or competent public authorities may receive information where this is necessary or required by law. We do not sell personal data.

Processing outside the European Economic Area

We do not intentionally transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where a service provider processes data outside the EEA, we ensure that the safeguards required by Chapter V GDPR apply. You can request details at advisers@avaloncomp.ro.

Your rights

Under the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest.

Send your request to advisers@avaloncomp.ro. We may ask for information needed to confirm your identity. We will answer within one month; where a lawful extension is necessary, we will tell you within that month.

Security

The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to server logs and to enquiries is limited to authorised persons. The website does not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

We will update this notice when the way we process personal data changes. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update.
